In the United States, we have the highest rate of adult incarceration.   With nearly 2.2 million inmates are incarcerated, with mental illnesses has increased year after year (Daniel, 2007).   The correctional system has been transformed into the mental asylum for modern.   American Association calls on prisons to develop procedures that correctly handle inmates with special needs.   These inmates suffer from a variety of diseases such as mental disorders, infectious diseases and chemical dependency.   These diseases require a different form of treatment to be considered rehabilitated.
Mentally ill inmates are a growing problem within the correctional system that cannot be ignored.   The correctional system has experienced a lot of difficulties to identify and provide treatment to the mentally ill inmates, (Wettstein, r. 1995).   About 15% of inmates in city, county and state jails and prisons have a mental disorder, (Wettstein, r. 1995).   Mentally ill people don't think they are sick.   It is not unusual for inmates with ailments.   They feel they don't have a problem and do not need to be determined.   A way to help them is by giving them an intense, structured treatment that could help them to control themselves and function normally.   Structured activities can range from giving employees to give them their medication, to maintain a high ratio of staff to prisoners on a regular basis can help with their treatment, (Lamb, 2011).   Treatments that have been proven to work for seriously mentally ill inmates are therapeutic activities, placed in intensive community programmes and also locked up in psychiatric hospitals.
There may be problems with the treatment of inmates because of a lack of psychological resources and funding, (Lamb, 2011).   Employees ...

Commercialism is ruining Christmas

Commercialism is ruining Christmas? By Jasmin Berry

Many people complain about the holiday as being the best, for commercial, or at worst a conspiracy of corporations to take anything personal, tape it and sell its parts back to us for their own profit, making us believe that we need those parts to function properly during the holidays. While others believe that it is not commercialized as Christmas is about spending time with family and to be grateful for what you have and what Jesus died for. I will discuss each of these points in this essay.

I will discuss the "it is not commercialized" side of this. Some think it's not too commercialized as it is about gift giving and spending time with your loved ones. Also the whole family will be around Christmas dinner, have fun and hang out with each other. Also give gifts to family, special and personal gifts that they will be grateful for not expensive things.

Another reason it doesn't destroy the holiday season is that the stores must have sales/discounts yet, so everything will be deducted and people will be able to afford them, because they will not have to pay the full price.   Many people do not have money in the recession, that's why sales have forced shops to get money. Some stores have sales all the time because they not only get enough sales.

On the other hand, can Christmas be too commercialized as they advertise early. Some stores advertise in September, which is far too early. It also remind they are going to need a lot of money because of all the expensive things on the market that iphones and laptops. Many or most parents feel pressured to buy expensive gifts also makes kids happy. Most children know the time just hoping everything they ask for. For example, when your little and see something that looks great on TV as a toy, its just like, "I want that" when parents feel they have to get it to let their children enjoy Christmas and ...

History 101: Pass the Popcorn, please

Summary and response of History101: pass the Popcorn, please

Summary: the author, Elaine Minamide, writes this article "pass the Popcorn, please." She takes a few arguments to convince its readers that students or children can learn from history or culture media because the light is hooked with VCR or movies. However, discuss older siblings a few questions about this way.A famous cram school, called Sesame Street, manages to use the VCR to teach English to children. How Sesame Street to sing and dance. Most teachers are not, however, until they participate in their teaching programs. This teaching method is obviously larger than traditional teaching methods. Therefore, more and more teachers are accommodating them. for example, in the San Diego Union-Tribune focused on local teacher who often complement classroom instruction with modern films.Maybe it's a good way for students to learn, but there is also an argument that shows students spend more time watching television and movies than reading books. This issue needs to be explored from a broader perspective. According to the author's opinion, does she like to audiovisual learning is just one of the educational ways to improve students ' learning motives instead of replacing the main course. In conclusion, there is no advantage or disadvantage in a new way of teaching, but if this way can foster children or students to learn, they are all great ways for teachers to use in the courses. The author considers audiovisual learning is just a better way of learning. Answer: there are a lot of teaching ways that teachers can use in their courses. However, it must have a proper teaching methods for pupils of different ages. The audiovisual learning actually are suitable for children. It has been a common teaching way that most cram school that educates children from preschool to elementary school. Why is there a right way of teaching for this range of children? In my opinion, the range of children ...

Design of Dc Motor Driver for Solar Tracking program

Design of DC Motor Driver for Solar Tracking program

Abstract-solar trackers rely on a direct current (DC) motor control circuit to control the movement of the solar panels. Conventional DC motor drivers are used in solar tracking system is not an option for speed and torque control. Why does DC motor fixed speed to either too fast or too slow tracking motion. Usually, the output torque is set to maximum. If the load (weight of solar panels) is small, the maximum torque is underutilized and therefore energy is wasted. So, a fully adjustable DC motor driver for solar tracking system shows great potential for commercialization as much energy efficient DC motor control circuit can improve the overall efficiency of the solar tracker. Fewer solar panels are needed when they are linked to high efficiency solar tracking system, which will be reflected to lower system. Therefore will be improved engine driver cause significant impact the solar energy industry. Proposed DC motor driver is fully adjustable in terms of speed and torque. Speed and torque of the engine is directly proportional to the output voltage and the output current of the DC motor driver, respectively. Adaptive control of the output voltage and current is possible by installing algorithm in microcontrollers of DC motor driver and it can be reprogrammed according to the requirement. Control speed do solar tracking system to track the Sun more accurately and torque control saves energy.

the converter is used to step down the voltage to reduce the rotational speed of the Solar Panel [4].

INTRODUCTION

Solar tracking system is used to track the position of the Sun in order to get the maximum energy of the solar panel is aligned perpendicular to the incidence of sunlight [1, 2, 3, 12, 13]. Solar panels need to move along with the direction of sunlight during the ...

Essay on Fahrenheit 451

"Fahrenheit 451"

Description of Montag, day 1:

On the first day of Ray Bradbury's dystopian novel "Fahrenheit 451" seems to be the awakening of the protagonist Guy Montag. After fulfilling his duty as a firefighter, what means that he has to burn books, he meets the 17-year-old girl, Clarisse McClellan, that changes his life. She reflects things and thoughts he was dissmissed in the past, and asked him questions he cannot answer. She, definitely a thinker and philosopher asks why, rather than how, what annoys him much. Because of her, he realizes that there is something important missing.
His happiness is just an illusion.
Although trying to dismiss thoughts about Clarisse's words, she has left a big impression.
Later at home, he finds his wife Mildred almost dead after trying to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills. He does not know why she did it, but he was very shocked and surprised.
Since PayPal two operators of hospital acute new blood with a machine. There are too many cases so that the machines need to replace doctors. The guy realizes that people are strangers to him, while the world is changing, and everything changes with the world.

Characterization of guy Montag:

Guy Montag is the protagonist of the dystopian novel "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury first published in 1953.
He is a 30-year-old firefighter, whose profession it is to burn books.
Guy Montag is named after a paper manufacturing company.
Montag is a character, which is easily influenced by others.
Although he is clearly a hero, whose actions can be sympathized by readers, (because he is sensitive, compassionate and self reflect) his character is too naïve and simplistic, and his actions are not controlled or coordinated, what makes him such a stupid.
His character seems to change with the times.

At the beginning of the action like he sees things burn, (p. 9; ll. 1-3) "it was a pleasure to burn. It was a pleasure to see things eaten ...

How to smoke a brisket

The brisket is defined
Brisket is cut from the breast of a side of beef. Every beef carcass reproduce two whole briskets.
According to USDA institutional meat purchase Standard (IMP), a beef brisket as it has fallen from a side of beef "contains the anterior end of the sternum bone, the deep pectoral muscle, supraspinatus muscle. Proof of the Gristle moment of the first rib and sternum and cross section of 4 rib bones to be present. " You never find this ben brisket in the meat in a U.S. supermarket.
The whole brisket you buy Grill is what IMPS calls "beef brisket, boneless, deckle-off." IMPS defines it as follows: "all bones and cartilage shall be removed. Deckle (hard fat and intercostal meat on the inside surface) shall be removed on the natural seam exposing the lean surface of the deep pectoral muscle. The inside lean surface shall be trimmed practically free of fat. "The word" intercostal "refers to meat between the rib bones.
Deep pectoral muscle (the "within lean surface") is commonly referred to as the brisket flat, while the supraspinatus muscle is commonly known as the brisket.
Contrary to popular belief is not the same thing as the deckle brisket. Rather, it is fat and muscles that attach the brisket flat to the ribs.

The apartment is just that: a flat, rectangular piece of meat that forms the majority of the entire brisket. This is the part that is cut across the grain and serve on a platter or in a sandwich. You've probably seen the apartment in case meat at the supermarket, separated from point and with most fat removed, ready for the Braise in the oven.
It is a lump of meat which partially overlap one end of the apartment. It's pretty greasy on the surface and in the flesh. It also contains a lot of connective tissue between meat fibers. It can be sliced, but its loose texture after ...

Supply Chain Management

What is a supply chain?

Here is this book's explanation of the "supply chain":

"A supply chain consists of all stages, directly or indirectly, involved in satisfying a customer issue. Supply chain contains not only to manufacturers and suppliers, but also carriers, resellers, and customers themselves.
A supply chain is dynamic and involves the constant flow of information, production and resources between the different stages. Each step in the supply chain performs various processes and interact with other stages in the supply chain. "

A typical supply chain can mean a variety of different phases, such as:
• Customers
• Resellers
• Wholesalers/distributors
• Manufacturers
• Component/raw material suppliers.

Some supply chain has all the stages but some have less, according to the company's environment. Each step could be a market or a hierarchy (Please reference materials in first class). In the Internet supply chain management, the designer must analyze the environment identifies the stages and types.

The purpose of a supply chain

In a supply chain generates every step a value. And the purpose of each supply chain is to maximize the total value generated. The value of a supply chain generates is the difference between what the final product is worth to the customer supply chain and the effort put in to fill the customer's request.

Supply chain profitability is the total profit is shared across all supply chain stages not only the maximum profit. We have to look at the entire chain's profits. The higher the supply chain profitability, the more successful the supply chain.

I stress this once again, "Supply chain management is about the management of flows between and among stages in a supply chain to maximize overall profitability".

Decision phases in a supply chain

A supply chain requires three phases of building. These phases are strategy or design phase, planning ...
