MicroLite case study

Overview
MicroLite S.A. is a company in Brazil that produces alkaline and zinc-carbon batteries.   in 1992, the company was faced with a reduction of duties on imported manufactured goods which would mean that international competition would increase significantly.   Luiz Pinto, was manager at the time, Microlite was facing the possibility of reducing the labour and production costs by closing the factory in Guarulhos, and move production to the plant in Jaboatao.

The elections that Mr. Pinto was faced with was to move the equipment to Guarulhos Jaboatao or buy new and faster.   Move the equipment to minimize Jaboatao Guarulhos would capital investments and increase workflow on the reliability of the equipment.   Purchases of new equipment would require more investments but reduce labor and increase production.   The new tariffs were implemented in 1995 and the problems were that Mr. Pinto had to reduce labor and increase productivity in an effort to maintain the high proportion of battery of the Brazilian currently owned.

A non-production issue that Mr. Pinto is facing is from an economic aspect.   One option presented to Mr. Pinto is to buy new Pan-Orient equipment.   Investment in new equipment would be about $ 2 million.   It is unknown from the case study how $ 2 million would be paid or funded.   This, however, would affect the decision by the parties involved to accept this proposal or not.

The current situation
The current bottlenecks in the operation of AA battery operation at Jaboatao is steps "Add pasta to the cup" and "inspect the carbon rods."   These two steps will work under are required by the production and would need to be corrected to improve productivity.   In an effort to increase productivity, Jaboatao facility should put a machine from Guarulhos dedicated to "Add pasta to cup" production.   At the same time as this ...

Consumer attitudes

The main purpose of this paper is to study the consumer response to mobile advertising.   Other major objectives is to explore the benefits of mobile advertising use to determine uniqueness with mobile advertising and identify relationships mobile advertising and the consumer.
1.5 CONTEXT for RESEARCH
The study was limited to the views of the University nationals for mobile advertising. Participants for this research were selected among universities national consists of students, staff and others.   A total of 200 students have participated in the study.
1.6 DEFINITIONS
According to Techopedia (N.) is defined as communication of mobile advertising products or services to the mobile device and smartphone consumers.   Mobile advertising spectrum ranges from short message service (SMS) text for interactive advertising.
1.7 PLACE of STUDY
This study was carried out in University Malaysia Sabah, Labuan international Campus (UMSKAL). We will hand out our questionnaire to all citizens of UMSKAL including students, staff and others.

1.1 BRIEF OVERVIEW of METHODS
Various methods are used to define the general reaction to mobile advertising.   Benefits of mobile advertising are used as variables in response to the survey question about their attitude in this study.   The survey also asked about attitudes to different aspects of the study.   Definition of comprehensive consumer attitudes lead to the sum of the responses to the various aspects of mobile advertising.   That last point, we can analyze that kind of consumer behaviour with different aspects of the mobile advertising contributes to consumer behaviour.

1.2 EXPECTED CONTRIBUTION to KNOWLEDGE
The hope is that the citizens of the University would do most of the results of this research and the results may play a small role in getting people to apply it in their daily life and at least you know the benefits of mobile ...

Poetic Techniques
Sound Effects
Alliteration is the repetition of first letters
Assonance is repetition of vowel sounds.
Internal Rhyme or Cross Rhyme or Conventional (end of line) Rhyme
Internal Rhyme is a word or sound rhyming within a line
Cross Rhyme is a word or sound rhyming across two or more lines
Consonance, including sibilance [or sibilant sounds].
Consonance is repetition of consonant sounds. Sibilance is repetition of ‘s’ sounds
Consonance, Cross Rhyme and Internal Rhyme may incorporate Alliteration and Assonance.
Try to add your own further examples to those below.

If you refer to these techniques when answering on a poet, state their purpose in re-enforcing meaning or creating the language construct that a poem is. Present them as evidence of the poet’s craft. Always argue that the verbal music or sound effects add to the lyrical quality of the images and make the poem an impressive piece of art.
The following are sample analyses that you should try to repeat on other poems, especially if you have not studied the poems analysed:
‘God, you could grow to love, it, God-fearing, God-
chosen purist little puritan that,
for all your wiles and smiles, you are’
Note the three examples of internal rhyme in this three-line quote from ‘Ecclesiastes’: ‘God’, ‘pur’ and ‘iles’. This repetition mirrors the repetitive diction of a preacher. Note also the four alliterating ‘g’ sounds in the first line. Mahon achieves a hymn like effect with his diction.
Note how the consonance interlinks the present with the process or remembering that is described in this sentence from ‘Grandfather’. There are eight uses of ‘r’. The consonance is deepened by theinternal rhyme of the three ‘row’ sounds in the first line of the quote.
‘Boiler -rooms, row upon row of gantries rolled
Away to reveal the landscape of a childhood
Only he can recapture.’

Note how the alliterating ‘g’ and the assonance pattern of the deep ‘a’, ‘ey’, ‘a’ sounds emphasise...

Pollution

 Problem: greenhouse gas pollution
Reason: burning fossil fuels
Sub-reason: create much carbon dioxide
Solution: phasing out fossil fuel
Example: not building any new coal-burning power plants

Pollution whether it is vehicular, electrical or industrial is the main contributor to the global warming. Most of the greenhouse gas emissions come from the burning of fossil fuel for energy such as electricity and transport. When oil, gas or coal burns, carbon contained within it combines with oxygen in the air to create carbon dioxide.
Coal is the major fuel that is burnt in these power plants. Coal produces around 1.7 times as much carbon dioxide per unit of energy when flamed. Over 75% of the electricity worldwide is produced by burning fossil fuels. Many gases are sent into the air when fossil fuels are burnt of which main is the carbon dioxide gas.
By driving cars, using electricity from coal fired plants and heating up our homes from natural gases, we release carbon dioxide and other heat trapping gases in the atmosphere. This all will cause the greenhouse gas pollution and lead to global warming.
Burning of fossil fuels likes wood or coal produces more carbon emissions than other product. Therefore, phasing out coal burning power plants and not burning fossil fuels directly will reduce dependence on fossil fuels. There are many ways to begin this process. For example, not building any new coal-burning power plants, initiating a phased shutdown of coal plants starting with the oldest and dirtiest, and capturing and storing carbon emissions from power plants
