Background - Conflict in Tent City:




The Tent City project team feels uncomfortable with the information they are receiving from the Project Manager. The communication seems to be on the news prior to the team hearing it and has caused a few issues with the team.



There are other potential conflicts that may exist in the Tent City project. Conflict in teams is a normal part of team building. Conflict does not always have to be bad or be unproductive.



As you conduct your case study analysis consider the challenges of resolving the conflict. What challenges can communication cause with in a project team? How would you go about resolving communication conflicts if you were appointed project manager? Other than communication identify at least 2 other potential team conflicts. Utilize Chapter 8 in order to identify how to resolve these potential conflicts as your primary research. Please use supporting internet (NO “Wiki” references!).

Write a 2-3 page case study analysis determining a minimum of 3 potential team conflicts within the Tent City project and how as the project manager you would resolve each team (not individual) issue.



 Your paper should include at least 3 examples or references to the Tent City case.



 APA style formatting is required (double spaced, 12 point Arial or Times New Roman font).



 Your paper should end with a conclusion paragraph and list of references. Title page and Reference pages are not included in the 2-3 page count.
