Traditional delicacies in Malaysia
Specific purpose- to share with my audience what traditional food have in Malaysia
Central idea- traditional food
I. Northern Peninsula of Malaysia
II. Eastern Peninsula of Malaysia
III. Southern Peninsula of Malaysia
INTRODUCTION
A. Once Malaysia was formed, the diversity of its traditional food are recognized mainly by its geographical location, according to the states.
B. Although there are many restaurants in larger cities that serve foreign recipe such as from middle east or Europe, but traditional Malaysian food still can be found everywhere in Malaysia
C. Most of us don’t know what is example of traditional food in our country.
D. It will benefits our country if you know example of traditional delicacies in Malaysia because you can tell to the foreigner.

BODY


  I. The northern states are well known for their hot, spicy food. This is due to heavy influence of neighboring Thailand.
A.   Northern states have many popular traditional food which include the foreigner because it taste delicious.
B. Example of the food is laksa beras, tempoyak, asam laksa and many more.


  II. In eastern peninsula of Malaysia, the traditional food is more associated with sweet, but rich fare with glutinous rice.
A. According to Mark Kurlansky, 'choice cut' (2002), he said that "food is a central activity of mankind and one of the single most significant trademarks of a culture.”
B. Example of eastern traditional food is Nasi kerabu, Nasi dagang, budu, Keropok lekor.


  III.   southern states by their thick and sour spicy sauces.
A. This sour spicy was made because they have mixed Malay n Javanese. For example, asam pedas in Melaka that very popular because of its spicy. Besides that, in Negeri Sembilan, gulai lemak cili api is the traditional food while soto, lontong are coomon in Johor.
